About Me : Zuki, the Dusty Dog was the inspiration for my site name, and the subject of a multitude of photos. Sadly, the Dusty Dog has left me to my own devices, having died on July 18, 2007. My photos and my memory of her are testament to her spirit, the wonderful life she led, and the life that she "gave" me. We, indeed, rescued each other. She was a great dog. I am a landscape architect first and a photographer second. Or, is it the other way around? I've been developing my photography and Photoshop skills for years, which began when I took a class in photojournalism photography as an elective while earning my Bachelors of Landscape Architecture degree. In my Pets and People galleries, are examples of my portrait and pet photography. My biggest passion, however, is nature and landscape photography. All images are copyrighted material as indicated, and are watermarked! Unauthorized use or reproduction for any reason is prohibited. However, if any image particularly interests you, and you would like to purchase it, feel free to Email Me privately if purchasing via my site is not possible. Please be patient. I am transitioning the site to enable more convenient online purchases. My current equipment: Nikon D200, Nikkor 18-55mm, Nikkor 70-300mm VR, Tamron 200-500mm, SB-600 flash, Better Beamer flash extender, Gitzo 2931 basalt tripod, Markins M20 ballhead with RRS lever clamp, Wimberley Sidekick, Sekonic L358 light meter, a Tamrac Expedition 5 for the day-to-day, and a Tenba Rolling Backpack to drag around airports. My future equipment (the list is getting shorter): Nikon D300 (keep up with the times...) Sharp, fast glass (otherwise known as lens lust) ....... Thanks for visiting
